The Great South Bay Coalition was established in 2014 with the mission of promoting mental and physical health initiatives in an effort to reduce youth substance use. In 2018, with the help of our partners at Youth Enrichment Services, SAMSHA awarded our coalition with the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) grant that will provide funding for events in the Bayport-Blue Point and Sayville communities over the next five years. We are always looking to partner with other groups, organizations, and individuals that can build our capacity, and utilize this great funding opportunity in a way that will maximize its impact on the youth in the community. If you are passionate about mental or physical health, or just want to get involved in a community organization, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our goal is to continue to grow our membership, and collaborate with community partners, in order to expand our available services, educational programs, family-fun events, and physical fitness initiatives each and every year.
